Delete your Home Genie account

This page is for the Android and iPhone app "Home Genie", by NK Softwares.

You don't need an account to use the app. If you made one, here is how to delete it.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the app and go to Settings (menu ☰ › Settings).
2. Under Account, tap Delete Account.
3. Tap Delete Account again and confirm it's you (with Google, Apple or a code sent to your email).

Your account is deleted straight away.

Don't have the app any more?

Email support@myhomegenie.app from the email address on your account, and ask for your account to be deleted.

If you signed in with Apple and chose "Hide My Email", write from your own email and include the relay address Apple made for the app. You can find it on your iPhone in Settings › your name › Sign-In & Security › Sign in with Apple, under the app's name.

We reply to that address to confirm the request before deleting anything.

What is deleted

• Your account: its email address, your name if you gave one, and your sign-in details.
• Nothing tied to your account is kept after it's deleted.

What is not deleted

• Nothing on your phone. Your devices, reminders, service logs, photos and files are stored only on your phone and never left it, so we don't have them. To remove them, delete them in the app or uninstall it.

How long it takes

• In the app: straight away.
• By email: within 30 days of your request.

Premium

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Premium subscription. Premium is billed by Google Play or the App Store; cancel it there (Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, or on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions).
